Our client is a specialist distributor of adhesives and other consumable items. As a Technical Sales Manager you will deliver a professional external sales and internal service interface to customers & prospects. Working closely with the UK Managing Director, you will work towards company strategic objectives and marketing plans. 

 

You will be a strong team player but be able to work independently and exhibit excellent organisational and communication skills. You must demonstrate energy and commitment and possess the passion to grow the business.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Target the Aviation, Aerospace & Defence sectors (AAD).
  • Work closely with our key supplier.
  • Look after an existing set of customers in Germany.
  • Develop new business opportunities for the product range.
  • Find new customers for the product range.
  • Sell an added value product solution for a manufacturing problem.
  • Increase customer loyalty and ensure repeat business.
  • Become competent in IT systems & ERP.
  • Provide Monthly Sales Report, Visit Reports, & other reports as directed.
  • Eventually work with Marketing to develop an online e-shopping platform for Germany.

 

About You:

  • Experience in Key Account Management / Technical Sales / Sales Manager / Business Development. 
  • Fluent English and German speaker. 
  • Prior knowledge of the adhesive industries (Desirable)  
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
