Our client is looking for a Specification Manager who will take responsibility for identifying, prioritising, and securing Trade Commercial projects for their Decorative Paints Division. This will involve engaging with customer stakeholders from architects and interior designers to main contractors and industry professionals. 

Responsibilities 

• Develop compelling value propositions for their products. 
• Present CPD to major architects to secure client products in building projects across the board. 
• Complete submittals for contractors and builders. 
• Oversee tender process. 
• Engage and influence key decision makers to ensure client products continue to be preferred above all others. 
• Ensure Client products as seen as the leaders in sustainability by stakeholders through the use of new and available assets to promote their position as the go to organisation in this area. 
• Provide high quality consultancy for specific projects. 
• Give coaching/guidance to colleagues and customers on relevant coatings solutions. 
• Ensure that clients remain compliant with all legislation. 
• Continuously build knowledge and understanding of relative markets. 

Job Requirements 

• Experience in direct sales of a technical construction products. 
• Existing relationships with key stakeholders. 
• Able to build strong relationships with architects, specifiers & key influencers in the sector. 
• Technically competent in construction methods/standards including delivering CPD presentations to clients. 
• Familiar with preparing specification documentation and use of CRM systems and records. Have excellent computer skills. 
• Effective communication influencing & people skills. 
• Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key. 

A salary in the region of €50K + (dependent on experience) with a bonus scheme and car allowance along with other benefits.
