Our Client is a leading global supplier of raw materials and services to the Rotational Moulding Industry. Rotational Moulding is a unique plastics process that enables the designer to develop an amazing range of products of almost limited size and complexity. Most people are not aware of the diversity of the products this industry makes and one of the largest challenges, and indeed opportunities, is to help designers, roto moulders and OEM’s get a better understanding of what is possible.

Having consistently experienced year on year growth throughout Europe, the company is strategically looking to accelerate profitable growth within the UK. The post-holder needs to have strong time management and prioritization skills to manage and develop existing customers whilst conducting business development activities of new materials for new applications and new market segments.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop and grow the targeted territory to exceed agreed annual revenue targets.
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasts for revenue and new pipeline opportunities.
  • Own and report the win/loss ratio and provide timely competitive market intelligence.
  • Responsible for existing customer retention, success and maintaining high levels of service.
  • Establish and foster relationships at the appropriate level of prospective accounts.
  • Qualify new opportunities, develop pricing strategies, propose, present and close new business.
  • Develop compelling value-based propositions based on ROI/cost benefit analysis.
  • Close collaborator with the internal teams, providing innovative ideas for business growth and development.
  • Keep abreast of trends, news and information concerning the industry and market.
  • Present at industry related conferences and events.

 

Requirements:

  • Prior knowledge of the plastics and polymer industries
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including rapport building and influencing.
  • Must have demonstratable record of consistently exceeding Sales targets.
  • Proven selling skills and commercial acumen with applied sales methodologies.
  • Decisive and analytical in decision-making/ problem solving.
