Our client is a technological leader in the chemical industry and offers products and services for all key global markets. They manufacture a wide variety of specialty chemicals. They are looking for a Sales Manager to cover the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities:

  • Recognize market potential early on, compile analyses and forecasts on markets, customers and applications.
  • Responsible for implementing agreed sales plans, monitor in the fulfillment of plans, and compile deviation analyses (e.g., in monthly reports).
  • Develop, define and implement strategies and campaigns for regional sales and marketing, in consultation with operations.
  • Serving existing customers and acquiring new accounts in regional markets.
  • Offer advice and support and act as intermediaries for questions about products, technical support, environmental compatibility and product safety
  • Support an optimum ordering and logistics concept and adapt it appropriately.
  • Offer technical advice for standard and other enquiries, or they pass on enquiries in an appropriate form.

Candidate:

  • A successful record of sales within the coatings or adhesives industries is a distinct advantage.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commercial acumen.
  • Significant and demonstrable Sales experience in a technical B-2-B industry within the Chemical Industry.
