Our Client is a leading product safety and regulatory consulting firm. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to identify and generate new business opportunities for their fastest-growing departments in food regulatory affairs services across Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Possess original insights in the global food compliance field, especially in businesses related to Global New Food Ingredients Application. With the support, be able to formulate and implement clear plans for exploring the European market, and ensure the achievement of relevant sales targets set by the company.
• Obtain target customer leads through targeted promotion or relevant marketing activities, secure opportunities to dialogue with key decision-makers of customers to identify their relevant needs, and ultimately obtain cooperation opportunities. Work with the team to provide expert consultancy on food compliance, regulatory, and testing requirements, collaborating closely with clients to deliver tailored solutions.
• Enhance the company's presence in the EU market by participating in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Profile:

• A BSc. or MSc degree in food, biology, microorganism, or related discipline;
• Experience in new business development
• More than 5 years in novel food ingredient industry or food Regulatory Compliance related experience. With experience in the global food or novel food regulations preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, and fluency in English. An additional European language would be beneficial;
