Business Development Manager - Adhesives and Silicones - Germany

Our client is a specialist distributor of adhesives, silicones and other consumable items. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team based in Germany to build up a territory, win new business and establish our client as a trusted technical partner in Germany. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Actively win new customers across AAD, Electronics, Automotive and General Manufacturing.
  • Build and manage a strong new-business pipeline.
  • Convert technical conversations into long-term commercial relationships.
  • Manage and grow an existing German customer base.
  • Sell problem-solving solutions, not commodity products.
  • Work closely with our clients technical and operations teams in the UK.
  • Identify high-value OEMs and Tier 2/3 manufacturers where our clients value-add matters.
  • Work closely with suppliers.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or technical B2B sales.
  • Exposure to silicones, adhesives, sealants, tapes or adjacent materials.
  • Experience selling into manufacturing-led markets (AAD, electronics, automotive, industrial).
  • A track record of winning new business.
  • Comfortable working independently and creating your own structure.
  • Commercially sharp and motivated by growth.
  • Ambitious and ready to develop with the business.
  • Fluent English and German speaker.
