Our client is a specialist distributor of adhesives, silicones and other consumable items. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team based in Germany to build up a territory, win new business and establish our client as a trusted technical partner in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Actively win new customers across AAD, Electronics, Automotive and General Manufacturing.
- Build and manage a strong new-business pipeline.
- Convert technical conversations into long-term commercial relationships.
- Manage and grow an existing German customer base.
- Sell problem-solving solutions, not commodity products.
- Work closely with our clients technical and operations teams in the UK.
- Identify high-value OEMs and Tier 2/3 manufacturers where our clients value-add matters.
- Work closely with suppliers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development or technical B2B sales.
- Exposure to silicones, adhesives, sealants, tapes or adjacent materials.
- Experience selling into manufacturing-led markets (AAD, electronics, automotive, industrial).
- A track record of winning new business.
- Comfortable working independently and creating your own structure.
- Commercially sharp and motivated by growth.
- Ambitious and ready to develop with the business.
- Fluent English and German speaker.
